This is an example of a rail switch mounting plate machined for CSX Transportation in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bintzler Inc. was asked to do these because of the quick turnaround offered. A template was made using dimensions supplied. This was done so that all plates were exactly the same. Machined from 1/2" mild steel plate, turnaround in a matter of days.
