Fabricating/Welding

Shown below is a tank in it's partial stage of fabrication. This tank has a diameter of ten feet, and a height of twelve feet. It is one of two solution storage tanks. Both tanks are part of a system manufactured for Cincinnati Milacron. The system replaced an existing vapor degreaser to clean large heavy parts prior to heat treating. These tanks have a shell from mild steel plate 1/4" thick. Then a 10 gauge type 304 stainless steel liner was inserted into the shell. This sandwich construction resulted in a strong tank wall without the high cost of a 3/8" thick stainless tank. One concern you will always find at Bintzler Incorporated is, how can we do high quality manufacturing, while at the same time reduce costs for our customers.
